Built by Hachaliah Bailey, "The Father of the American Circus", 1825. Meeting place for early menagerie owners and stagecoach stop for travelers. Housed the Farmers & Drovers Bank of Somers, organized 1839 Purchased from the Bailey family in 1927 by the Town of Somers for the use of municipal offices. Somers Historical Society Museum located on the top floor.
