My husband and I had lived in NYC for 10 years and were looking to move north. While Madeline works near Somers - she showed us houses in Ossining, White Plains, and eventually we found our perfect house in Mount Pleasant. We spend many weekends looking at houses and each time I could tell Madeline had really narrowed down on what me and my husband were looking for and was so active in sending new listings our way. She led us through putting in offers, and the third time was a charm because the third house we put an offer in they accepted - and honestly it was the perfect house for us! Madeline helped us with what to look for, was honest, never pushy, so patient, and so knowledgeable. She is so responsive to emails and gave great guidance when it came to working out the closing process. She has very good contacts that also helped assist with the mortgage process and the legal aspect of purchasing a home. I could not imagine having had to go through this process without her. Five stars isn't enough she deserves more. We have been in our house for 4 months now - and we are loving every minute of it. The more time we spend here the more we realize how perfect this house is for us - and thank Madeline so much for helping to get us here. And we finally have a home we can decorate for the seasons including our first time in 10 years we've been able to buy pumpkins and decorate for fall

I eventually ended up buying a house through a private seller, but this is a year after I first called them. I still recieve HAND WRITTEN Christmas cards from them every year. If you think these people don't care about your home buying experience then your wrong. It was like having a second family.

She developed a marketing plan which included numerous open house "events"...wine and cheese as an example. She utilized all of the various forms of media: newspaper, on line, etc. and communicated with us every step of the way. I would definitely use Joan again if I had a property to list.

My wife and I were first time home buyers, so had little experience with the process. Our hope was to find someone who we could trust implicitly and was responsive to our questions - all while willingly providing his or her expertise throughout the process. Stephen exceeded all of our expectations. In the genes -- Stephen comes from a family of home builders and other licensed home professionals, so his "process expertise" goes well beyond what I'd imagine one would find in another agent. Sights of rooms, exteriors of homes, and various aspects of how a property is situated all led to key tips of advice provided by Stephen during our home browsing trips. The guy knows his stuff. And if he wasn't ever able to answer a question that we had, he would honestly say he didn't know - but did know who to go to to find it. Personality -- Stephen is a girl-dad himself, so naturally helped us as my wife and I viewed some of the homes with our now four year-old and one year-old daughters. He'd carry our older or younger - or both if we needed during some visits. He still has a sticker on his property binder that my older daughter gave him during our first trip with him. Honesty and Integrity -- There was never a moment where I questioned Stephen's answers or actions as we moved through the home buying process together. He quickly understood our criteria and made it easy for us to move through decisions. Responsiveness - Stephen and I still talk regularly, and there still hasn't been a time when he hasn't answered my phone call. Every text, every email - all responded to quickly and thoroughly. Proactive updates were provided to us regularly as Stephen received them. He is organized well, loves what he does and is very good at doing it. I've already recommended Stephen to close friends and family. I can't express how happy we were to have him on our side, representing our needs and guiding us along the way -- even after our closing and moving into our new home! There should be more Stephen Mancini's in this world - if you're thinking about buying a home in Westchester County, give the guy a call.

We had tight (sometimes conflicting) criteria we insisted on - yet, Joan Mancini was very patient with us as we explored what was important to us, and what was on the market. This process took 2 years. In the end, we found a short sale purchase, which went very smoothly.

I had worked with other realtors before Madeline and I felt like they weren't listening to what I wanted. Madeline took the time to listen to what I really wanted and was more then patient in showing me listings (and I was very particular about what I wanted). Not only did Madeline help me find the place that had all the things I desired (I am closing on a townhouse this week) but she also walked me through all the ins and outs of home buying (and should have gotten paid as a therapist when I was anxious over things). Madeline was the consummate professional and also got me in touch with my inspector and my mortgage broker (James Minisolo from Fairway Independent Mortgage who btw is also awesome). They took care of every detail to close the place and managed to finish the process within 3-4 weeks of the accepted offer. Pat dealt with the fine details with the town to our relief. There were several "homeowner" issues that needed correction in preparation of selling our home in which Joan provided guidance, support and various contact information to help resolve our issues. Her office support staff was also very responsive in scheduling home showings and all our needs, right through the sale and house closing.
